What is the shelf life of your products?
Once opened and used, we recommend replacing your makeup products every 3 months to maintain proper eye hygiene. When stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, products are good for 3 years.
What is the pH of Easy on the Eyes Spray and why is it important?
Hypochlorous acid is a historically difficult ingredient to keep stable so formulation is important. Our spray uses a high-quality electrolysis process to reach a pH of 4.57 which is optimized for use on the skin and eyes.
What makes your Hypochlorous Acid Spray ideal for use on the eyes vs. other sprays on the market designed for skin?
Our spray was developed, tested and approved by a panel of Ophthalmologists for specific use on the eyes. Our uniquely designed atomizer uses a fine mist that is gentle on the eyes. Other brands have forceful sprays that can irritate the ocular surface.
For the Easy on the Eyes Spray, what formulation process do you use?
Our bodies naturally produce Hypochlorous Acid within our white blood cells. To replicate this outside of the body, we use a process called electrolysis that combines water (H20), salt (NaCl) and an electrical current using a high-quality titanium coated electrolysis cell in order to control the pH more precisely. The pH of Hypochlorous Acid is key to it’s efficacy.
Does your formula contain bleach?
Absolutely not!
What makes your packaging better than other sprays on the market?
Our spray bottle uses environmentally friendly food-grade PET plastic bottles. Our bottles are opaque and include the spray nozzle already attached so there is no risk of exposing the formula to oxygen and light which can degrade efficacy over time. There is no evidence that microplastics are leached into the solution when stored at the appropriate temperature.
For the Easy on the Eyes Spray, what is the concentration of Hocl?
Easy on the Eyes uses a concentration of 0.02% hypochlorous acid at 208 ppm.
What is the shelf life of the Easy on the Eyes Spray?
Easy on the Eyes Spray with Hypochlorous Acid is effective 12 months after opening. For optimal eye hygiene, our Ophthalmologist founder recommends replacing any products that are used on or around the eyes every 3 months.
Is the Easy on the Eyes Spray FDA cleared?
Yes. Hypochlorous Acid meets high standards for quality and can be trusted as a safe part of their daily eye care routine.
